Josephine Press schedules instructed workshops and open work time sessions according to demand. If there is a medium or technique that you would like to learn, then please email us and let us know.

Open Studio Sessions

Etching:

Open etching sessions are Tuesday evenings, from 6:30 pm till 10:30 pm. There is a limit of 6 participants per session. Ink, newsprint, and acid are supplied by the shop, and printing paper is available for purchase. It's $25 per session, with a minimum of 4 sessions per participant. These fill up fast, so email with interest early.

Monoprint:

Monoprint, often called the painterly print, is a print made by applying ink and stencils to a plexiglass plate and then transferring the image to a piece of paper. This workshop is open to the beginner to advanced level printer.

Open monoprint sessions are every other Saturday, 10 am till 5 pm with a limit of 5 participants. The fee is $80, plus $10 for materials, and participants are aksed to purchase two sessions minimum. The upcoming sessions are February 18th, March 3rd, and March 17th. Please email to register.
