Joe Piasentin

A native Californian, graduate of Stanford University and the California College of Arts and Crafts, Piasentin's prints, as in his drawings and paintings, are process oriented, richly layered and heavily worked. He describes his work as the "cultivation of the accident, where the operation of assembly and disassembly provide a constantly changing relationship of formal issues." He is currently Professor of Painting and Drawing at Pepperdine University, Malibu California.
