Joe Piasentin
A native Californian,  graduate of Stanford University and the California College of Arts and Crafts, Piasentin's prints, as in his drawings and paintings, are process oriented; richly layered and heavily worked.  He describes his work as the "'cultivation of the accident,' where the operation of assembly and disassembly provide a constantly changing relationship of formal issues."  He is currently Professor of Painting and Drawing at Pepperdine University, Malibu California.
